Description
Responsible for conceptualising and developing the design, user interaction and experience of any given web project. Deeply involved throughout the entirety of the web development process from initial information gathering through to delivery and maintenance to ensure a consistent and polished level of design. Tasked with presenting the company in the most positive manner to the appropriate demographic on the internet.
Project Work
  • Information gathering/meetings with product owner, understanding the brief, any restrictions and the timeframe involved and advising any foreseeable issues or additional requirements.
  • Discussion with the content editor & development lead on the project to formulate a productive workflow and to ensure that the needs of development and content are considered in the design process.
  • Conceptualisation of ideas and research of market and design trends.
  • Initial design and delivery of mock-ups, discussion of feedback received and the implementation of any proposed changes or requirement shifts
  • Final stages of design concluding with the completion of the chosen mock-up.
  • Working with the developer closely to help them fully understand the design concept, discussing implementation difficulties or constraints and offering design advice to help realise the design pixel perfect.
  • Working with content team and developers, to fully test design and user interface pathways and to appropriately polish the near final product.
  • Continued maintenance and being available to advise and support the content and development team regarding any styling issues, new feature implementation or radical shift on the website's focus or direction.

  • Maintaining a consistent style and brand throughout our web presence.
