Well what a journey! Initially started in Marketing where I honed my skills and became team captain. I was then given a trial on the sales deck at Palm Beach Club.

Whilst here I have been part of a record breaking team, beating long standing daily, weekly and yearly targets. For two years I have had the privilege of being the team captain and have achieved financial security beyond any expectations. This really is a job for life and I look forward with excitement to the future.

I started working for Resort Properties six years ago at the H.M.C. Office. I was introduced to the company by a friend who recommended it. I have to say it's one of the best decisions I have made.

I have achieved many things over the years such as great confidence within myself and financial security for myself and my two children. I have also been successful within the company and over the last 3 years I have sold in excess of £3million of resales.

I moved to the Palm Beach office in June 2008 where I feel I've gone from strength to strength. We are such a great team there and have outstanding support from the management team.

On holiday in a hotel in 1989, the standard was rubbish, I met a representative from Resort Properties and was taken up to the Beverly Hills Club. I fell in love with the standard of accommodation and bought a week. I had a kitchen business in the UK, the last recession killed it. I was moved into the Beverly Hills Club for the remainder of my holiday. I met a rep I used to work with in the kitchens business, who offered me a job. I came out here in December 1989, set up home and have been here ever since. The company is great, better standard than in the UK.

Having worked in the industry for some 15 years in an administrative capacity, I felt I wasn't making the progress I could be. I went back to university in my thirties but still felt that I hadn't found my niche.

I returned to the beautiful island of Tenerife in 2006 and joined the sales team here at Resort Properties. I wasn't in the best shape financially and was beginning to feel I needed a challenge.

In the three and a half years I have been employed here I can honestly say my life is now unrecognizable. I purchased an amazing three bedroomed house here six weeks ago and can actually see now where my future lies.

The support and training given freely and ongoing is second to none. You feel part of a very large successful family living in a world of possibilities. Being able to have dreams that have a real chance of coming to fruition is truly exciting and motivational.

The decision I made to apply via the website back in 2006 was a life changing one and one I wish I had made years earlier.

I came to Resort Properties in March 2002, having worked for 20 years in Financial Services.

One of the main reasons for coming to Tenerife was for my wife and I to be nearer to our daughter who came here in 1996.

Having been used to working for large financial institutions, i.e. the Co-operative Insurance Society and latterly the Prudential, it was fantastic to be introduced to a similarly large international and professional operation.

Over the years working for Resort Properties I have made many friends both within work and with clients.

I own my own home, two cars and am the proud grandfather to my granddaughter, Amelia. I have been able to help her with her schooling and my other two sons and daughter out from time to time.

It is a fantastic feeling to work for an organisation that is always pushing the boundaries and setting new standards in Resale and holiday experiences. My goal is to retire in another six years and spend my time golfing, travelling the world to various sporting events and spending fantastic quality time with my family.

I started my career at 18 years old in July 1994 after finishing in engineering after 2 years. The company I was working for was taken over and I was made redundant.

I came to Tenerife to see my older brother for a holiday and stayed in the Beverly Hills Club as he was working there. Not knowing anything about the clubs I asked my brother why they were so well kept for a self catering resort and what he did for a job there. Being curious and jobless I then persuaded his boss to give me a job and that was how my career started with Resort Properties.

I have seen the company create amazing new products for the owners, allowing them more flexibility and quality around the world while I have been employed by them and it has also allowed me to travel around the world and see some amazing places and destinations I used to dream of when I was at school.

I look forward to furthering my career and my future with Resort Properties as they add new exciting developments and destinations globally.

I moved to Tenerife in March 2004 and was working for a small resort. I achieved success there but wanted more. I had heard about Resort Properties and how it was the only place to work on the island. I was eventually given the opportunity in September 2006. It was then that I was able to change my life around. However, to do this means hard work and 100% commitment.

In the April of 2007 my head was turned with a promise of a "golden carrot" by Club la Costa and I unfortunately moved. The promise was half days and the same rewards, or so I thought. What I realised was that the grass was definitely not greener on the other side and due to my stubbornness I stayed there far too long, giving myself more and more debt. It almost cost me my marriage.

I eventually bit the bullet and asked to come back. That was November 2008. Since that time I have been able to rid myself of debt, put my daughter into private education and have fantastic holidays. The managers only push you for your own benefit as they want you to succeed more than you probably can imagine.

I joined Resort Properties as sales representative in August 2003. This company has done everything ever promised and has completely changed my life for the better.

The opportunity is endless and as a result of hard work and dedication I'm proud to now be a Sales Manager within the Resort Properties Group.

I was working for a British real estate agency when, mainly by chance, I heard about the training course at Resort Properties. I had heard about timeshare before but had no knowledge of the product or the way it was sold... so curiosity was what brought me in initially.

After speaking to Claire during the first interview and seeing the buzz at the sales deck, that initial curiosity turned into a feeling of excitement about this great opportunity. The training course itself and the life coaching in particular were eye-opening. It was then when I decided to take the step and start changing a life I was no longer happy with.

The first weeks at the sales deck were hard, as Jo and Gerry had warned us during training, but I felt that if I kept giving it 100% I could achieve the same results as every other successful rep here. If someone else was doing it, so could I.

Now, two months from day one, I feel more confident and appreciate the opportunity I was given, sure that my performance and results only depend on the effort I put in. My hope today and one of my goals for the near future is to be able to look back in a few years' time, having achieved my outcome, and smile about these first few weeks.

I was recommended to work at Resort Properties some time ago and eventually decided to do the training course over two months ago, which was a very pleasant surprise as I learnt so much about myself and what an incredible company I was about to work for. I decided to join Resort Properties in May 1994. Having lived in Sydney Australia and Boston USA, I was concerned about how I would adapt to life on a little island, but I was pleasantly surprised. Tenerife is a beautiful, safe and relaxed place to live, with a fascinating history. From mountain treks to boat trips, to top-class bars and restaurants - you can never get bored!

Since walking through the doors at Resort Properties, I haven't looked back. If you are prepared to work hard and give the job your all, the rewards are endless. I came to interview in person for Resort Properties in Tenerife in Oct 2008. I knew of the company as I worked on Tenerife in a reception role at a Scandinavian resort nearby and was impressed by the RP employees and their operation.

At that time there was a three month wait for the next training course, but I was so eager to work for the company that I took the immediate opportunity of a position on their Malta resort at the Island Residence Club. Within a week after my interview I was on my way to Malta where I was lucky enough to work for three months with their fantastic team there. In January 2009 I came back to Tenerife to go through the Training and assessment course here.

The Professionalism of the training and the team management here are superb .It has allowed me to grow professionally and personally and this has set me on the right track for success in all areas of my life.
